Privacy Policy.

Effective

Naz In Da Lab is operated by Narcisse Jr Kalamba, a sole proprietor based in Saint-Léonard, Québec ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as modernized by Law 25) and applicable Canadian privacy law.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

Person responsible for your information

Narcisse Jr Kalamba is the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Naz In Da Lab. Any question, request, or complaint about your personal information can be sent to hello@nazindalab.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide training, run bookings, take payment, and answer you:

  • Account and contact details you give us — name, email address, and phone number.
  • Booking details — the sessions you book, the format (studio, in-home, outdoor, online), and, for in-home or outdoor sessions, the address you provide so we know where to meet you.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; we receive a confirmation of payment and limited transaction details.
  • Communications — messages you send us through the live chat, email, or forms, so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation.
  • Optional profile details — such as an Instagram handle you choose to add (used to credit you when you tag us) and your loyalty, streak, and referral activity.
  • Technical information — IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and analytics to keep the site working and understand general usage.

Why we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide and schedule your training sessions and manage your account.
  • Process payments, refunds, taxes, and receipts.
  • Send you transactional messages — booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and download links.
  • Respond to your questions and provide support.
  • Operate loyalty, streaks, referrals, and challenges when you take part.
  • Keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.

Consent

We collect and use your personal information with your consent, which you give by creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using our services. For sensitive uses we ask for clear, specific consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, though doing so may mean we can no longer provide certain services.

Service providers we share with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make our business run, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Supabase — secure database and file storage for accounts, bookings, and orders.
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Upstash — rate limiting to protect our forms and sign-in.
  • Cloudflare — bot and abuse protection on our forms.
  • Google Analytics — aggregate, privacy-respecting usage measurement.
  • Meta (Instagram) — only if you connect an Instagram handle or tag us, to credit your posts.

Information stored outside Québec

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Québec, including in the United States. Before entrusting information to a provider outside Québec, we assess the privacy protection it offers. By using our services you acknowledge that your information may be handled outside Québec under those safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law — for example, we keep transaction and tax records for the period required by Canadian tax rules. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Under Québec law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate information corrected.
  • Withdraw your consent to a use of your information.
  • Receive certain computerized information in a structured, commonly used format (portability).
  • Ask us to stop distributing your information or to de-index a link where the law allows.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and measure general usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and trusted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the appropriate authority if a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, as required by law.

Age

Our services are intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.

To exercise any of your rights or ask a question, email hello@nazindalab.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
